Halloween Birdhouses
I love Halloween. I don’t go for the spooky stuff. I just like the colorful, fun, whimsical stuff. What a great time to work with so many mediums.
Lots to say about how this one was put together. So many funny little tricks.

Another Halloween Birdhouse
The birdhouse needed company. Here’s an idea.
Scraps that are dying to part of something new: shingle (from my shed), vinyl tile (stash) and a piece of wood, which I always have laying around.
Putting it together. Glue and clamps. Clamps are one of my favorite tools. They often make up for not having 3 or 4 hands.
It’s put together, it’s painted, but it’s still too plain, even with the stone chimney.
There, that’s better. Some dot painting accents, artificial flowers, some molded clay pieces (ghost and cat), a little moss around the edges, and a bead for a pumpkin. And, of course, a painted and distressed candle stick for the pedestal.
They are happier together.
