Recipes
I’ve found several new recipes for paper mache, concrete, and plaster. I’m sure there will be more.
Paper Mache Paste – A slight twist on just flour and water. It’s still flour and water, but it’s cooked. That makes it so much better. I never knew. I love this recipe now.
Paper Mache Clay without flour – This is fabulous to put over the paper mache to kind of smooth it out and build it up a bit. I’m still working on getting the paper fine enough, but not too dry. It’s been hit and miss so far.
Paper Mache Clay with flour – I haven’t tried this recipe yet. Maybe I’ll try it if I don’t master the without flour recipe.
Papercrete – This recipe makes sort of concrete clay, for making stuff for outside. I can’t wait to try it when it warms up a bit.
Plaster Relief – I’ve been trying to find a recipe for this so I can put my plaster in a bottle and trace a pattern, making my own design in relief. Finally, I found a recipe, but haven’t had a chance to try it yet.
